Something Like Fall
The continuation of my previous story Something Like Summer. This is the 2nd part of the trilogy, with the last being Something Like Spring. It has passed 2 years since Oskar met Aaron for the first time. They haven't talked to each other since then. Aaron lives his best life with his friends and girlfriend, as a popular boy. He quickly forgot about Oskar. Oskar also has his accountable friends, but the day he met Aaron for the first time in 2013 he fell in love with him. He tried to hide it for a long time. One year later in summer 2014 Oskar finally admits to himself he's in love with Aaron, but it seems like their ways had been separated for good. Another year flies by, and now we have the autumn of 2015. 14-years old Oskar begins his 3rd and last grade of junior high school in Poland. The boy tries to accept the fact that Aaron, 16, ended the same junior high school a few months ago and that he won't be seeing him on corridors anymore during breaks. They meet though, at the same school. One incident will bring closer boys to each other for the first time. However, Aaron is clearly only into girls. Oskar feels attracted to boys but still doesn't admit to himself that he might be gay and generally is in denial. What will happen between them- friendship, love, hatred? Maybe nothing? But when he finally makes it through the wolf forest to get there, nothing goes as planned. Because there is a reason Ryan grew up separated from his family and the life he should've known. And a reason why it might've been for the best if he'd never found his way back home again. There is already someone expecting his arrival, someones who's ready to risk it all for revenge, and when Ryan wakes up ater being attacked, he's not entirely himself anymore. And whatever has become of him, it's clear that he's now a threat to everyone around him. Turns out Ryans parents are the leaders of a pack of werewolves, deadset on keeping the school and their whole society hidden from humans, and protected from vampires. In this new world, where everyone has a different motive to want him gone, Ryan has to fight for his right to stay with the werewolves and stay in control of his own self, otherwise he'll never see his parents again, and he might just be what causes the destruction of the whole werewolf pack for good. ***** I would say this story is fine for ages 14 and up. This story is finished, but in Swedish ;) It's around 110k words and I have now finished translating it into English! I have currently uploaded more than half of the book (I'd say the midpoint is around chapter 44), and the whole thing will be uploaded probably before August. This story takes place in northern England, and I am obviously not English! So if you are from England, and have some feedback for me regarding use of words and such, please let me know, I greatly appreciate it.Complete
