In the year 2629, everything is different. Years ago, biologist finally found the secrets to our DNA; now, the world is filled with a globe of miscellaneous people with different animal DNA embedded into them. Scientist feared this would happen. Humans have become too distant from one another. Humans can't interbred. Many war and conflicts have sprung in amidst the chaos. A scientist thinks he has the solution by stealing a human from the past and extracting their DNA to help the future. But, what happens when she escapes from her prison cell? A girl named Amber must live in the future without any way to get home. Luckily, a chimera hybrid named Leo helps her survive in this new world. (This is a mix between, Si-Fi, Fantasy, Humor, Adventure, Some Romance)

(74,890 words) The wind rushed past me as my wings beat against the night sky. I noticed a copse of trees up ahead. I slowed to a stop, talons clutching a low-hanging branch. I looked beyond the trees and a pair of glowing golden eyes met my own. Wolf eyes. My eyes widened in fear as I took off. I dodged the trees in my path, but one branch snapped on my wing. My vision blurred, pain lacing through my wing. I continued to flap my wings, clinging desperately to the notion I would make it out alive. More than one wolf was chasing me, their paws a staccato on the ground. They would catch up. They would devour me. I tried to stay in the air, but the pain was unbearable. I fell to the ground, fluttering down like a dead leaf. I snapped my eyes open. Breathing heavily, I sat up. My room shifted in and out of focus as my eyes adjusted. When I was little, my father always told me that dreams were just my imagination, that people were never chased by wolves, and people certainly could never be birds. He starts attacking the spot with his lips, and I bite my lip hard trying hard to not let the moan escape me. I involuntarily close my eyes. Everywhere he touches me sparks erupt. I didn't want this to happen, not when he was just being a total asshole 2 seconds ago. "Roman," I practically moan out his name. He starts gently biting me, and I melt into him. I put my hands on his shoulders and push him again, slightly harder this time, but as he keeps attacking my neck, I feel as though all the energy has been drained from me. ~read the rewrite, 'Celestial Bodies: Of Runts and Lycans,' on Good Novel~ #1 in werewolf (first time: December 13th, 2015) #64 in drama (May 11th, 2018) -unedited, first draft version. things are spelled wrong. i hate the main character and the timeline is a mess. read the rewrite. trust me- Xavier sighed and tried to move in front of me without scaring me into backing away from him. "It's okay little one," he said as came closer to me. I felt so tiny in his presence, especially in wolf form. He knelt down and tried to move closer but I whimpered and backed up more into the tree. He sighed again before trying again and I tired to put all my fears away as he once again reached out his hand. I put my head down, hoping that if I couldn't see him, I wouldn't be scared. As I felt his hand on my back and felt tingles explode, I jumped but then relaxed as I got used to it. I calmed down more as he picked up my small frame and held me close before whispering into my ear, "What has happened to you little one?" *~*~*~* Celeste has always been running. When she was little a group of rouges killed most of her pack and the remaining wolves ran, including her. Over the years they have slowly split off until it is only her and her mother running.
