On November 9th, 1888 in Whitechapel, London, Mary Jane Kelly is pronounced dead as another victim of the notorious, Jack the Ripper. There was only one, unknown witness that night of the murder. That witness was Riley Marie Kelly, the younger sister of the victim that hid in her shadow so much, it was as if she never existed. This is the story of Riley, the one and only person that ever knew the true identity of Jack the Ripper.

There is not a ton of information out there regarding the possible affair, but Cynthia Lennon spoke about it many, many years later. Learning about some of the details she gave made me want to explore the possibilities and add my own twist. While this story is loosely based on actual people and events, none of it should taken as anything more than pure fiction. The year is 1964, and The Beatles have made it big...maybe a little too big, for, everywhere they go, they're ambushed by fan girls. Usually, the lads from Liverpool are quicker than the crowd, but, one day, the fans happen to grab a hold of none other than The Beatles' bassist, Paul McCartney, effectively beating his body and mind to a pulp. This angst/hurt comfort story tells the tale of Paul McCartney, who has been scarred by the brutality of his attack, and his three friends, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, who are trying their best to help Paul and his paranoid state of mind. Will the three friends help Paul? Or will they only make his situation worse? If so, will Paul go so far as to quit being a Beatle? Read "I'll Cry Instead" to find out!
