People have emotions, feelings. From the most raucous and mighty brute to the silent and timid angel, we all have a heart, and sometimes, we need time to express emotion effectively. Perhaps to capture an image of beauty or hatred. Perhaps to convey happiness, anger, sadness, or something else. Maybe even to speak out in protest. Whatever the case might be, a poem might be a good way to get a thought - or emotion - out of one's head or heart so clear thoughts may arise.
