The Jedi couple's child was so weak, she was dying. The couple used the Jedi Council's secret 'experimental midi-chlorians' to heal their daughter. Unfortunately, they weren't know their baby wasn't a Force-user. The girl survived with the help of the drug, but she wasn't normal, and it was taking the Empire's attention. They always traveled for the safety of their daughter.
But one day, they caught in Kashyyyk. The couple killed and the child taken from the Empire.
