Its 1942 and America has been dragged into WW2 by the Japaneses, both fronts are being fought in this deadly and inhumane war. Todd Dugger is a north Carolinian that lives in the country side with his mother father and two younger brothers. As Todd finishes his last year in high school and with the war coming on, Todd decides to leave his family and join the army. Scene hes been hunting scene he was nine and was an expert shooter he joins as a sniper to fight in Europe agents Nazi Germany. But is this war to much for the young christian sniper who is uneasy with killing men, will this war shape him and mold him into something he is not, who knows but war it self.

I register the popping sounds as gunshots. Immediately my brain thinks 'War'. All of a sudden it feels like someone is tightening their hands around my throat and I can't breath. I clutch my chest and try to take deep breaths, but I can't breathe. I feel my mums hand on my back and I realise I've slowed down a bit. I forget about what's going on around me and I just push forward, as fast as my legs will carry me. War has broken out in Maddy Richard's city of Chicago. She has to prove to herself that she can survive without having to rely on someone else. As she ventures through the city, she has to face things that she has never encountered before. Holding a gun is one thing she had never done before. Just looking at one she felt like she could hurt someone. Killing someone is another thing she had never done...
