How could he do this to me? I am--was--his mate. He looked at me with a sad expression and then looked down. Strangled, he whispered, "No." "Do you understand now how my heart broke when I found out? Do you get it now?" "Jace, I'm--" "Don't even!" I yelled. I couldn't take this anymore. "Leave!" I screamed, letting my tears fall to the floor. He looked at me with a painful look. I felt myself die inside when he finally did turn and leave. ~*~*~*~*~* Jace didn't know what Damian was in the beginning. She thought he was just a normal boy that went to her school.
