Odette comes from the Talbot family. Much like the Vanderbilt and DuPont families, Talbot is an old money name. Born out from an affair and only raised in wealth from her early teens, Odette likes to think of herself as a different breed of rich, wealth with permission. Odette needs more than her allowance but she's not allowed access with marriage, a condition given by her legacy-obsessed father. That's where a man with a title and empty pockets comes into play.
The game is simple and Odette knows the rules, it all just depends if Lord Alec Sinclair wants to play.
