For 12,000 years, we have taught that the Fifth Undoing of Eras was naught but a myth; that demons and monsters are creative play things conceived by the parents of unruly children and minstrels with a taste for coin; that Gods and angels were no more than the personifications of our wildest hopes and our most terrible fears. For 12,000 years, we have taught lies. As hell stirs beneath our feet, and men lulled by the voices of demonkind clamor for the awakening of a beast so terrible Eras should shudder within the trembling arms of God, we patiently await the end of all things; the Sixth Undoing. For the Races of Man, there is no hope of salvation save one, and that hope is ever more terrifying than a Death God touching the world, for that hope is Death Himself... The Man of the Seven Spears; Eras' final whisper in the dark.

Shhh... They are here. They are real. They are just invisible to the consciousness of humans. There are few things taught that are not quite right. They weren't discovered. The four elements were gifts from the top-tier gods and goddesses; Quentin, Orphelia, Persia, and Leviathan. All of the divine masters have different abilities, but there is a common gift which all of them have... The ability to create and take life. As soon as they master their gift, all of them make their first creation. The Gods and Goddesses call them "the crowned", for they are their children. After some time, one of the crowned betrayed the other, causing chaos and war. As a punishment, the deities went to their paradise. A paradise in which a mortal, even the crowned cannot enter, only the gift's child and the divines themselves. And when they did, millions and millions of their soldiers died. Many ordinary and gifted soldiers escaped from the bad luck that their royals brought. They built their own homes and acquired knowledge that helped them survive. But some built their own empire. The successors. The children of the crowned. The children who created an empire to start anew. When the sun radiates brighter and becomes hotter, fire blazes. When the wind blows from west to east, air seeks. When the chirp becomes roar, earth destroys. When the waves soar high, water awakes. And when loud thunder awakes and ablazes with the waves of the eastern sea, hide... They're at war.
