They are genetically engineered, powerful, and destined to be caged; created by a ghost organization to fulfill sick scientific purposes, no more and no less than lab rats. During 16 years kept in the dark about their real identity, Adrian and Daivat discovered the sad truth about their origins after a series of tragic incidents. Alone and scared they start to discovered very powerful abilities that cause more damage than good. Death and suffering follows them. Together with Tristan, Travis, and Nikki they are force to run away to protect themselves from the people that created them. A powerful story about the danger of science without ethics. PD: bare with the prologue and my many grammar issues. Enjoy :)

I was an experiment from the moment I was born. Alina has spent years trying to bury the truth of where she came from - the secret program that built her, tested her, and marked her as something less than human. She almost believed she could live a normal life. When her world is shattered, Alina finds herself hunted by a ghost she thought she left behind. Forced to trust Jack, the boy who was never supposed to know her secrets, she is pulled into a fight for survival against an organization that should not exist. The deeper they run, the more dangerous the truth becomes. Jack wants to protect her. Mala wants to save her. Alina is left with one impossible choice: cling to the life she built or embrace the one she was never meant to survive.
