Dear Nobody,

                I'm ready.

                                   Sincerely,
                                                   Mel

Melanie Hunt never thought one doctor appointment would have the power to change her life as much as it did. Three little words with one big meaning was enough to open her eyes. The dreams she once had would never come true. It was like a slap in the face, a very strong slap in the face. It rocked her world, turned it over, and only looked like it would be spiraling down. The things she once hoped for were farther than they had ever been by now. The only thing she hopes for now is to make it through her senior year of high school just enough to stand in a cap and gown around her friends. But it's harder than it looks, especially when no one seems to want to face the reality.
