Amy Phillips is a daughter from a very rich family, her Dad owns multiple mining companies. Her Mum received millions of dollars in her inheritance. Amy does cheer-leading, ballet, gymnastics, swimming and used to do little A's. It is safe to call her, spoilt rotten.
After winning another compitition, a horrific accident makes Amy stop in her tracks and realise how lucky she was. Also the fact that she has been announced 'cursed' and that she must 'redeem' herself unless she wants to live a life filled with horror, doesn't help. So she is sent away, again, to try and find a place that Amy will fit in. It is the most unlikely place you could ever think of and the last thing Amy would think of.
