Love is said to be the greatest gift you can receive in life, but it was a luxury that Emma and Luke couldn't afford. Their marriage was just a piece of paper ending war between their two countries. Emma didn't want to marry the heir to the English throne who was know for his very many scandalous relationships with women. Luke didn't want to be tied down to the outspoken Princess of France. But before Emma even knew about the arrangement, she was shipped off to England to marry the king-to-be. Will the future rulers of England be able to come to terms with their situation or will they resent each other till death do them part?

Like most people when Emma was a child she had a vision of what her life would be like. She dreamed of having the fairytale romance that she'd grown up watching as a child, but what she actually had was something very, very different to her dream. Now all she wants to do is to start over, forget her past and begin to move forward but every time she tries something, or someone, stops her from doing so. Despite her troubles Emma counts herself lucky to have her best friend Taylor by her side every step of the way. However, when Taylor introduces Emma to four guys both their lives get flipped upside down in ways they couldn't even have imagined.
