This is actually supposed to be the 5th installation of The Arrangement series but it's the third book I wrote. Feel free to read this while I write the actual 3rd part. Jordyn Kane-Evans is a 27 year old detective working with the Special Victims Unit. Especially Detective Kane-Evans and her sleazebag partner Detective Rivers. But she has no choice but to work with them especially in rape cases. Unfortunately, Detective Kane-Evans was the best in her field. Alex found her absolutely gorgeous with her long dark brunette hair which was almost black and her blue green eyes, too bad she was an asshole cop just like the rest of them. She hated it whenever she would try and flirt with her. It was totally unprofessional and completely uncalled for. No wonder why everyone calls cops pigs. But then something bad happens and she finds the only person who she can trust and who can protect her is Detective Kane-Evans. She soon finds out that maybe, just maybe not all cops are bad.
