The clocks are everything.
The clocks are life itself.
Embedded in your left arm they tick and tick and tick.
Ceaselessly.
Endlessly.
Without stop.
And most of us are happy for it, happy for the countdown that will make our lives meaningful. Because in Cyndra everyone has a clock. A clock that starts counting down the moment you are born and doesn't hit zero until you meet your soulmate for the very first time. Because in Cyndra, everyone has a preordained soulmate. In Cyndra everyone has a happy ending.
Except me.

But when you kiss your soulmate for the first time, you tattoo glows and shows their name. But this only happens when it is love and love only.
