Chris Cerulli's best female friend has been Melanie Dawson since they were in childhood. They never ever saw themselves as anything more than that. They had an absolutely wonderful friendship together though. After being friends for over twenty-five years, they'd been through pretty much everything together. Chris was even up front with the bridesmaids when Melanie got married. Melanie is a pathologist (a doctor that performs autopsies on dead bodies) and is often busy with her work. Chris is obviously busy with the band too, but he and Melanie still managed to keep their friendship in tact and Chris was even close with Melanie's daughter, Sadie, and friends with Melanie's husband, John. After nearly ten years of marriage, Melanie finds herself divorced from John, and on her own with Sadie.
