Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable. - Bruce Lee

It starts fast-like lightning striking dry earth. What begins as a spark becomes a fire neither of them can contain. It's the kind of love that keeps you up at night, wide-eyed and breathless, not out of fear, but because you can't bear to miss a single moment. It bruises the heart in places no one sees, but never breaks it-never harms it. Just leaves fingerprints, soft and lingering. Leaving would be easier if love ever truly left. But it doesn't. It lingers in the walls, in the sheets, in the silence between words. One heart clings to memory, loving what was. The other leans into the unknown, loving what might be. And somewhere in between, love becomes a duty-an unspoken promise, heavy and unshakable. All she wants is quiet now. Not the silence of loneliness, but the stillness of peace. A place where her heart doesn't have to choose between two kinds of love-only rest in the safety of her own.
