*heavily tweaked and modified* This is a story of a teen that had a rough patch of life when he began highschool, but he decided to make the best of it. He became a brilliant hacker and engineer, but always wanted to do more. His two favorite things were tinkering and playing bioshock 2. Oddly specific, but who cares? It's a great game. He always dreamed of going to the city during it's golden age to see how amazing it was. But obviously, it's impossible, unless a random ex machina happens to our young protagonist while he sleeps and happens to end up in the year 1969...in a rapture much like we know, but so far apart from the timeline we seen. here, there is no jack and no plane crash. Only a lighthouse and a man that thinks he shouldn't be there. But fear not, for he has his wits, a computer with hacking software, his phone with schematics, and a trusty family heirloom that he cherished dearly. Now, you might think that it's big daddies and splicers that you should worry about in rapture, but truth be told...they have nothing on the alpha predator of the deep. The big sister. Pissing off a big sister on it's own is terrifying...pissing off a big sister that is insane for someone, by targeting that someone, however, is just asking to be shown why they are feared by death herself

Scholar

[COMPLETED] [Warning: Strong language used throughout the book.] He put his hand over my notebook and the other over mine. I glared up at him, his golden brown eyes catching my attention. "I can't write like this," I pointed out. "Is this all you care about?" Ryan asked. I shrugged. "Not this specifically, but yeah, I care about my grades." Ryan smirked. I swallowed nervously but refused to break my stoic expression. He leaned closer to me, my heart pounding so hard against my chest it felt like it might break out and fall on the table between us. His mouth was right by my ear, and I could feel his warm breath when he spoke which sent shivers down my spine. "Well, aren't you a little a scholar?" *** The only things Alex Moris ever cared about were his grades and his sister. However, when the boy his sister likes, Ryan Smithe, makes things complicated and causes him to feel things he's never felt before, Alex realizes that, maybe, there's more important things in life than grades and scholarships.
