A human experiment. Far beyond human abilities must live along humans. Escaping her prison on her 16th birthday forced to try and fit in as a normal human girl. Her parents killed in front of her at the age of five. Other children forced to suffer and have a type of animal DNA put into them. She's the only one who survived this torture. She's forced to protect the world from any harm that may come. Demons try and attack her as well as many evil forces. Clare goes to school again like a normal girl. Lives in a dorm at her school.

I couldn't do anything but stare out the tiny slit of light from under the door. That was my life, that light. I didn't know what time of day it was but that light told me I was still alive. It made me feel alive, I still had something. It was the only thing that kept me thinking I wasn't one of the rats. Pain, I realized, was worth it. "Well now you know how it feels when you break a girls heart". I stood up and walked away. Everyone looked at me with awe stricken faces and I twirled my body around putting my hand on my hip. "By the way the names Avery Blue" I spoke loudly. Flashes of recognition crossed people's faces but Chase was the most shocked of them all. I stared at Chase straight in the eyes. "Karma's a bitch" before turning around and continuing my way to physics class. xx Avery Blue has had enough of being tormented by her classmates and leaves school to return with one agenda. To show everyone who's boss and not to mess with her. She leaves school for a term and comes back hotter than ever and also one major badass. You could say Karma's a bitch. The only thing missing on her agenda was to somehow get tangled up in a gang.
