There I stood. In a field of grass about knee high. It tickled my feet as I walked around slowly exploring. I wondered to myself where I was but a sense of comfort overcame me. I saw movement in the distance. As I put my hand up to wave them over suddenly a flash came before my eyes and they appeared by my side. She was dressed in all white with silver blue eyes. Such a being that looked of perfection and happiness. As we walked in silence side by side I struggled with what question to ask her first . Then as I prepared myself to speak her voice flooded my mind. A soft hum as if she was humming a lullaby I heard as a child long ago. I could not stop from closing my eyes and listening to the sweet melody. She told me of her reason for being there and that her and I were not the same kind. Her name was Aura and she was an alien. One of the most beautiful beings I could have hoped to see. She told me of their plans to give us a second chance.
