Once upon a time, they said, there was an angel who had lost both her wings. No that's not right-- she gave them up. You see, this angel fell in love. With a lovely human girl who had a smile that warmed her heart, eyes that stole it, and a ring on her finger that made love impossible.

The angel severed all her ties instead in exchange. For a time, it was allowed, love between a human and angel turned human boy.

But judgement came, as it always did, and they paid the price.

And now, is that it? The end? No. You mustn't forget: Once the forbidden fruit of their sins has rotted and blackened into nothing, then perhaps the heavens might take pity and let them meet again.
