Anna Thomson is a seventeen-year-old girl who loves her grandfather with all her heart. He was the only family member that truly understood her, but when he becomes really sick and on his deathbed, the Grim Reaper comes to take his soul away. Luckily, Anna went in to check up on her grandfather during the night to find him,the Grim Reaper, standing over her sleeping grandfather.

Soon enough she finds herself wound up in a deal to save his life. At first it's all good and dandy, but then horrible disasters start to happen. Anna begins to find herself in near death experiences quite often. She had always been clumsy but never accident prone. Will Anna make it out with her life?
