This was, originally, written for some of my deceased loved ones. But after the 16th of December attack on a school in Pakistan; this is in the perspective of the family and loved ones of those martyrs. I think that this sort of sums up their feelings about the incident; though nothing could overcome their grief, unless the murderers are caught and executed. Written on December 19th, I am finally uploading this poem of sorts.

"The difficulties lay not so much in developing new ideas as in escaping old ones" Technology had been playing its most important in the human lifestyle in this modern world. Everywhere we go every man on Earth, would have various gadgets around them. The world is now borderless. Everyone can communicate with anyone no matter where they are. There aren't any more boundaries between societies. Other than that, with the presence of the Internet man, could seek various kinds of information from multiple websites; be it useful or harmful. Death had not been any man's fear. Even though it is a fact that every man would pass to the afterlife when the time had come, they do not fear the consequences they had to bear later. Some mistakes weren't well observed as not everyone was gifted with good observation and understanding skills. Due to that, some man was blind by revenge. Hatred and revenge burnt in their heart and soul forgetting that the law is still being upheld. Letters and notes were old ways to express someone's feelings. With the new technology, many had decided to move on, using e-mails and social media to express what they feel. Having a note in a home compound might be exciting for anyone but not Addison Lore. Those notes were sent to her without fail for fourteen continuous days. Even a red ruby ring. Will she be able to escape the fate she was about to face? "kisi na kisi ko hai banaya har kisike liye" this lyric says everything I want to convey through my story. Each person in our life is like a chapter who helps us reach our happy ending. She always felt like an outsider in this house. It was like she was a guest who had stayed too long. Her cousin's cold stares, Chachi's sharp words, and the hidden insults reminded her daily that she wasn't welcome. She was quiet, gentle, and really close to her faith, but being so reserved made her an easy target. Even though she seemed soft, there was a strength inside her that no one could see. Her brown eyes showed a mix of hope and sadness, and her love for Feras was something she kept hidden, even though she wasn't sure he could ever feel the same. Feras was different. He didn't talk much and had a strong sense of right and wrong. Tall with piercing eyes, he had this calm but serious presence. He didn't show much emotion, keeping everything locked inside, yet he somehow looked out for Anam. He wasn't mean, but he wasn't warm either. He was a mystery she couldn't figure out.
