"Is everything okay?" They think they know, they think they understand. They don't know, they don't know anything. Audrey Lansky's father died when she was just twelve years old and since then, her life had spiraled downward. Her mother started drinking again, her friends began to ignore her and her grades plummeted. Everyone thought she would eventually accept the facts and move on with her life. Four years later, and she hasn't progressed at all. When she gets into a fight at school, they suggest she attends a weekly therapy group to help her cope with everything in her life. There, she meets Oliver. Oliver is unlike anyone she has ever met. He understands her on a level she never thought possible. When you're young, you think you know it all. When you go through foster care, You have to grow up fast. Meet an 8-year-old boy who thought he knew it all. He just wanted to grow up as fast as possible to escape all the "care" he was forced to have. But when a family finds out about his past, they want to help him in any way they can. In this case, letting him be a little kid again, letting him feel safe while being himself. This story is about his first days in his new foster home and gives a little glimpse of what happens when you don't let the outside world dictate what is right or wrong.
