The Wild Escape
Katrina Mars has always had a special connection with her older sister, Keeley, who graduated the year Katrina was in eighth grade. That connection was the same kind of love for pop punk/alternative rock music and their desire to be happy helping one another and others. The two had always been best friends as sisters, and they had always been there for each other. Keeley was even the only friend Katrina ever had, even after she went off to college. This is all until she meets Sam Browman, a kid in school who is a lot like her: dresses "emo," listens to "emo" bands, sings and plays a lot of instruments, and goes through troubles at home. Who knows what may happen to these kids who connect through both having troubles at home? This story is set in the year 2011, when My Chemical Romance was together (before the breakup and reunion).
