"Mo loved confusing people. Messing with their heads and all. Her best strategy was intentionally getting things wrong. Perhaps I'll tell our story like that."

Eris was always in line. She just was mistaken for a troublemaker due to her namesake. Her Topsy-turvey life lands her in the foster system. She jumps from home to home until she falls flat in juvie for something she never did. Her Parole Officer decides it would be best to stay at a group home. That's where she met Monique McGreggar. Mo, she goes by. She's beautiful, fun, and a freak- Just like Eris. They start as complete strangers, and end as inseparable. What could possibly take them apart? The foster system, of course! How will either of them cope with not being together? Will Mo ever escape, what she calls, "This Ill-Fated Nation"? Most importantly, will Eris ever come to peace with her reputation?

Author's Note: This story is written out of order. It's in the same order my notes were taken. Also, my inspiration for this partially goes to the TV show, "The Fosters" on Free Form. Without further a due, ENJOY!

She never thought she would ever meet anyone as egotistical as her brother, but boy was she wrong. She never wanted to be in the lime light like Tony, so she kept a quiet private life, even changed her surname, not wanting to draw attention to herself. She was only a few years old, when their parents died, and Tony didn't want her growing up in the spotlight, so he had her raised away from it all. Though she loved her brother dearly for giving her a safe, quiet life, she missed having that bond with him. That is until the day he announced himself as Iron-man and joined the group of misfits that called themselves heroes. She had worked at the local hospital, as a doctor in the ER, but was often called upon to fix up the idiots who didn't know how to take care of themselves. On one of her shifts, she comes across HIM. That smug, egocentric asshole trying to prove that he knew best, arguing with her about a patient, when she had lost it, and punched him in the face. *** Stephen Strange was a man who prided himself on being the best, and here was this woman, who was telling him how to do his job. She was infuriating, stubborn and a huge pain in his ass. After a public disagreement, that resulted in her suspension, when she hit him, he had found out that she was none other than Tony Starks sister. He attempts to make amends, by inviting her to the party in his honour, in hopes of showing the board that she was an asset to the hospital, when his life takes a turn for the worst, and an accident occurs. Shawn Walsh... For someone who was the son of a cop, he didn't exactly play by the rules, he was a uncontrollable force like a hurricane, a tornado...a tsunami. When he was young, it was only a slight tremble in the ground, a small wind, a tiny wave. But when he got older it became a rumble in the ground, so strong it split the earth in half, the winds became a storm of whipping winds that destroyed houses and ripped the trees from the ground...and the wave Became huge, so high that it reached roofs and touched the skies. Of course Shawn wasn't always like that...but Shane wasn't exactly the best father, he was cold towards Shawn, ignoring him and acting as if he didn't exist. Shawn knew why, it was because Shane didn't want him, he wanted to be with Lori and Carl... though, Shawn was the aftermath of Lori and Shane when they were teenagers, Shane still wanted Lori and her other son who she had with Rick Grimes...the man who Shawn thought of as a father. Unlike Shane who tried to forcibly control Shawn's anger and desperation for love, attention and affection, Rick would hug him and tell him to let it out, he told him to break something, to scream, to cry...and that he'd be there for him every single time. At 22, Shawn had moved out, got an apartment and a job as a tattoo artist, he never inked himself because he had respect for his body, but he did enjoy drawing his art on other people. When Shane came to Shawn's tattoo shop to tell him the only man who was like an actual father to him, had been shot, he became enraged, he screamed as loud as his vocal cords would allow him, he threw chairs and anything else he could get his hands on at the wall. Maybe it was because of his heart broken state, but for the first time in his life his actual father had hugged him, he had pulled him to his chest and told him everything would be alright...but how could it when the dead began to rise and people began to pull apart and turn on each other?

Book 1: Being rewritten _____________________ Charlotte Kineton is twenty-five, finishing college, and looking for something simple: a job that pays, a room that's quiet, a life that finally feels steady. When she interviews for a live-in nanny position with the enigmatic Mr. Darcy, she expects professionalism, distance, and a strictly temporary arrangement. What she doesn't expect is how quickly his house begins to feel like a place she belongs. Darcy never intended to complicate his life. A single father to five-year-old Ella, he runs his world with precision and restraint. He knows hiring Charlotte is dangerous. She is too sharp, too warm, too alive in a house built on order and quiet grief. But he hires her anyway, telling himself it's logic, when it's really instinct. What follows is a slow collision of glances held too long, conversations that linger, and emotions that refuse to stay professional. Charlotte grows attached to Ella. Darcy grows aware of Charlotte. Jealousy appears where it has no right to exist. Affection hides behind rules. Desire learns to whisper instead of shout. Hello, Mr. Darcy is a slow-burn romance about two people doing everything in their power to be responsible while falling into something undeniably reckless. It's a story of restraint that trembles, of longing wrapped in civility, and of a home that quietly becomes more than a place to live. Not love at first sight. But something far more dangerous

Carmen is screwed up. She's been in and out of juvie all her life and seriously there's no place she'd rather be. Until she gets released from juvie unexpectedly, given a probation officer, and forced to live with a normal family and go to a normal school. Carmen doesn't even know the definition of normal. Much less family, or school. Separated from the only system she's known and has stayed constant all her life, she finds it hard to adjust to the world outside the concrete building. The structure and rules aren't the same. In juvie, rules were like opinions, people ignored them. But in the real world, supposedly it wasn't socially acceptable to steal cash, or graffiti the front of the school building. Enter the Harrisons, the family who's taking care of her. The matriarch of the family hates her criminal record. Sammy, the seven-year-old, is too clingy, too innocent, and too naive to understand anything. Then there's Jay, the guy she's forced to share a room with. A self-righteous son of a bitch, Jay doesn't understand Carmen and doesn't understand her self destructive way of thinking. Though he's not bothered by her, he's fascinated with her. The family represents the structure and rules that Carmen doesn't, nor wants to, understand. But as Carmin starts to push back at the structure and rules suddenly rushed into her life, it starts to change. Her whole way of living is thrown off balance, what she deems normal isn't. And through a series of events, she starts to spiral out of control, and she doesn't know if someone can pull her up from that. Carmen was given a second chance, but is it a good chance, or is it just another recipe for getting thrown right back to square one, like she always is? Because second chances don't usually get handed out. And she's about to learn what it means to get a second chance. ____
