Rose's life is pretty simple with a best friend and a small social life. However, one day that all changes. She finds out secrets of her past that drives her to another land, a magical land. In this magical land she lives a whole different life with a whole different perspective. While she is uncovering secrets of her past more secrets are piling on. One secret that is uncovered is her life is in danger. She must save her own life but will that jeopardize others? Will she make the right decisions? 

**This story is a lot like Harry Potter and the girl version. I tried to write a book a book very similar to Harry Potter but it turned out to be almost an exact replica so I do not take credit for ideas that are basically Harry Potter ideas. However, towards the end it is more original ideas.**

Far From Earth, Close To Home is a story of a girl named Jay, who woke up in a very odd situation, and began to question her sanity. After a short 1/10 of a chapter of that, she finds herself in a pine forest with a town in it. She meets people there, mostly younger kids, some older, around 18. For some reason, no adults. She learns that this place is threatened by a force, and she is part of it. She also finds out the leader of Said force is trying to use her as a last hope, but with her, the town could be saved. She is given a choice between good and evil. And when she chooses good, the leader doesn't back down. What's he up to? (This story is intended to leave holes and be confusing, or at some points, irrational.)
