These are the Benefactors. There is no leader, there is no mascot. Although, they are a team. They used to be three police officers and an engineer. Everyday people. The world we know takes a futuristic step in 2025. There are new lab experiments that can turn a human into something more. Now they can help in ways that were never even imagined. Are you ready to race through the space-time continuum, teleport to places unknown, never miss a shot, and spread ice and lava in a matter of seconds? Let's see if they can beat the odds against the toughest enemy this team will ever face!

Alright so this is the first book I've ever written, so it's gonna be kind of bad and sloppily put together. This is what trial and error are for, am I right?
Huge thank you to Kiara0357 for the support in my writing! You made it possible through your comments and votes! And thank you to pedemonti95 because well, you made me get on here in the first place.

Side Note: This story was written by my brother and I when we were 14. The plotline and the characters were made completely through our own design. The point of this story was not to create a great book, but instead, it was about us having fun writing it. While the storyline is all over the place, we thought that this was a great thing that we did together and I will never, ever change that.

Five Hargreeves: Timeless Temptation by XCX_Stories_V
34 parts Ongoing Mature
Five Hargreeves has always distrusted Number Eight. From the moment they met, they hated each other-competing at every turn. But when Eight is injured on a mission and disappears after a heated argument with Five, everyone believes she's dead-except Five. Two weeks later, Five storms out of the Academy, only to be trapped in the apocalypse, leaving a hole in the family. In 2019, the family reunites for Sir Reginald Hargreeves' funeral. But it's not just a funeral-it's a reunion. Both Five and Eight return, but something is off about them both. Eight claims she spent the years in a coma, but Five isn't convinced. As he works to stop the impending apocalypse, his suspicions grow. What Five doesn't know-and what Eight hasn't revealed-is that she didn't spend the years in a coma. She joined the Commission, and the truth of where she's been is buried deep. While Five is consumed with saving the world, he can't stop thinking about her. Will she reveal the truth? Or is she playing a dangerous game? Meanwhile, Diego, who shared a connection with Eight during their childhood, is drawn to her again. But where Five sees lies, Diego sees something else. Can Eight's truth heal the family, or will it tear them apart? In the world of the Umbrella Academy, trust is fragile, but desire is a dangerous thing. When the world is ending, do you really have time for romance? If you are looking for a book that's filled with a slow burn romance between two people who deeply hate each other and a love triangle that will leave you feeling divided? This is the book for you. Started: 22nd June 2024 DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE CHARACTERS FROM THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY. I HAVE ADDED MY OWN STORYLINES AND CHARACTERS, SO IT IS NOT A FULL COPY OF THE SHOW.

In which Ted Nivison tries to survive the apocalypse, with superpowers. --- "In this situation, solitude was safer, of course. Less of a chance of suddenly getting attacked by an elemental monster. Other people were dangerous, Ted knew, so he did his best to stay away from them. But here's the catch: it was incredibly fucking lonely." --- Disclaimer: These are heavily fictionalized versions of the creators involved, written for the sake of fiction, to practice my writing, and to have fun. I have nothing but respect for these people and I want to make sure I'm respecting their boundaries; I won't include shipping or graphic violence. If you think I'm still crossing any boundaries with this story, please let me know; and as always if I make anyone involved uncomfortable and you'd like me to take this down, I'll gladly do so. Thank you! --- EDIT November 13th 2020: See the beginning of "we're gonna pretend (intermission)" for a full explanation of the state of this work. But, in summary, I took a six-month hiatus after chapter 7 was published, and basically just stopped writing. Chapters 8 and 9, an interlude and the epilogue, are the only two chapters I had that were at any stage of completion whatsoever, and were originally going to be the 13th and 19th chapter respectively. The first six chapters are still a completed "arc", and 7, 8 and 9 can pretty much stand on their own. The rest of the story remains unwritten and unpublished, but I at least wanted to get the concepts I did have out there for you to read. I'm sorry I can't give you a complete story, but, well, I hope you can enjoy this regardless.
War for Change by Colby101001

Humanity used to thrive in 2035 until a group of scientists started playing God. This science team was recruited by all the top world leaders and they've begun receiving demands for a super soldier, and they began experimenting on animals, which gave the scientists expected results, but like all experiments, there was a chance for failure. The humanoid animals, or Anthros for short, started getting smarter, faster than the scientists expected, or reacted. The Anthros broke free and took what was left of the 'White Mist,' the substance that created them, and put it into the planet's air supply. Long story short, most animals worldwide have begun transforming into Anthros, and started devastating the world's militaries before attacking cities. Humanity is now facing extinction with their last millions while the Anthro civilization is over 2 Billion strong and counting. The war between Humans and Anthros has lasted for over 50 years, and while humans may be disadvantaged against the Anthros higher strength, speed, endurance, and intelligence, they still beat Anthros with improvisation, adaptability, and tactics. The war has destroyed all four Eastern continents, leaving behind a creature both Humans and Anthros call Reapers, who are husks of the person they were. The Anthros have near complete control over North America and are fighting Humanity in South America, but the main human bases are located on the Hawaiian islands. With death seeming inevitable for human kind, can nothing stop humanity from extinction? Zero has just graduated from high school with good marks and a scholarship. His family wanted to celebrate, so they said they would wait for him. He went back to grab his wallet, and as he turned around, he started falling in a wormhole, closing afterwards. (This is my first story, and the art seen does not belong to me.) (Book 1 of War series)

Y/n, mostly known as "The Actress", is a special assassin working under the Time Commission since she remembers. Why would she be special? Because she's only sent into very specific assassination jobs, where she is required to put on an act and manipulate her targets to extract information, and then, eventually, their lives. However, the woman with a perfect reputation faces a twist in her emotionless life when she's assigned to the mission of killing Five Hargreeves, the former best assassin of the company who betrayed his superiors and fled into another timeline in hope to save his family from the apocalypse of 2019. The woman, now in a girl's body, has to deal with overwhelming new feelings she desperaly wants to get rid of, and discovers things about herself that she preferred keeping away from her mind. This story contains descriptions and mentions of violence, death and other possibly triggering matters. - I am NOT the creator or owner of The Umbrella Academy Series or any of it's characters, except for Y/n and non-canonical characters.

MASKED: Rise of the New Generation [Book One ReUploaded]

26 parts Complete Mature

*REUPLOADED as the published version of the story* In a world full of super-powered individuals, comic books have become real life. Superheroes and villains have epic battles in the streets, aliens dash through the skies, and everyday people have their daily lives hindered due to collateral damage. That's just the norm that everyone has grown used to. It's a new age of young supers rising to the top, and New Elysium City is the epicenter for this new generation. The paths that they take will carefully carve out the fate of their metropolis they call home. Some may choose to be the very face of good and justice, while others may instead take a darker turn. And the rest? Well, they're perhaps just a bit disgruntled and tired. With a new hero team in the making, they all must overcome their own trials in order to work together successfully. Hopefully, they can do it in time to stop the new wave of villains as crime in New Elysium truly never ceases. But will they be able to properly balance their real lives with their secret identities? Or will the weight of the world come crashing down around them?
