Phanfiction.
After an extreme existential crisis, Dan gets worried about who he is as a person and if he is good enough to be Phil's friend. Phil notices Dan's depression, but doesn't intervene. Little does he know that behind his back, Dan buys a mysterious medicine
from a shady man on a stall who tells him it will make him a good person, "just the person Phil would want him to be."

Dan knows Phil would flip if he found out, so he hides the medicine under his bed.

Some things even best friends can't know.

After taking this "medication, he suffers the side affects of tiredness and extreme tempers, and after an overdose of medicine, he collapses right before Phil's eyes.

Dan had been taking Xtermafol, a deadly chemical.
