I once read a quote that said "The universe is under no obligation to make sense to you." and it was probably one of the most eye opening things I had ever read. That quote has changed the way I perceive many things in my life today.

I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts. It all started when he accepted my friend request on Facebook. I couldn't believe that he actually accepted my friend request. I was so happy. I don't know why I was so attracted to him... I thought he was this nice and innocent guy but the more I know about him, I realized that he was beyond an ordinary innocent guy...He was much more than that... Every time I was with him, I experienced new things. He brought out the best and the worst in me. He taught me how to talk to people and socialize. I overcome my shyness and I know things about guys that I didn't know before. I changed. But, there was a side of me, that I thought I would never have. "I can't do this anymore; I just can't!" A line said in almost every individual's life. We all at one stage in our life dealt with such pain; where dying is easier then living. But, it's all a rollarcoaster that we have to fight through. I was once a shy, scared and sad little girl and now I'm a confident, compassionate and cheerful young lady. But, I wasn't always like this; at many stages I was extremely depressed. I know this seems like the stereotypical teenager's story but it was something much much more. Give my story a read and lets ride the rollarcoaster together. You never truly know what can impact you the most. It could be a book or even another person. Never close yourself off to be alone because you're shutting yourself from the beautiful world we live in together. Expect the unexpected and always reach for the stars. Different- 1) Not the same as another, or each other; Unlike in nature, form or quality. I thought being different was a good thing. You know, the whole 'Im not conforming to you' deal. I thought I was unique, my own person. Apparently not everyone thinks being different is a good thing. They're afraid of my difference. Maybe it's my long white hair? Or my glowing silver eyes?
