In the new world werewolf's have adapted to life with out the fear of being found out by humans for they have began to coexist each species adapting to the practices of the other. Poppy is a innocent cheerful runt that is shunned by average and superior werewolf's as well as for the other runts that live in the special community for them, all because of her appearance. Lancelot is the soon-to-be Alpha of all werewolf. At the age of 21 he has lost all hope of finding his mate leaving him a empty cold blooded killer. When traveling to the yearly event to check on the runts he is in for a big surprise.
