{[(UNDER CONSTRUCTION)]} [Work In Progress] "You're the perfect weapon. Not just a puny human, above and beyond! That's all you are, Emrys. Not a hero. A weapon." Doctor Who AU. After losing Rose, the Doctor has begun to lose his grasp on humanity. When he discovers an Earth-girl with very unearthly abilities, he can't resist the distraction, and convinces himself that he must take her to ensure her safety, as well as the rest of the universe. But just how wrong is he? To the naked eye, Emrys Scott is just another unpopular senior at another high school, completely harmless unless attacked first. Which is good, because it means that her facade is working. In reality, 'Sam' is so much more. She keeps her younger siblings safe from a dark home life, and fends off bullies week after week, who take a sadistic joy in hurting others. But if you dig even deeper still, it gets worse. Her mind is plagued with paranoia, and perhaps even the slightest hint of mania, because something has been edited out of her every memory from birth to sixteen years old. And she has even bigger secrets to hide. Sam can do things that nobody else can. It started at thirteen, when she started hearing the thoughts of others in her own head, and discovered that she could move objects with her mind, with enough concentration. She has struggled with the fear of being discovered for years. The fear of being taken away and tested on. She doesn't know how or why it works, until the Doctor shows up with potential answers. But at what cost? Unable to return home to her family for risk of disturbing reality, Sam is forced to join the Doctor in his travels. But the drums are approaching, and fast. Leading to series three rewrite and onward. No romance. Rated 'Teen'/PG 13 for swearing and dark themes (TW: Memories of abuse and resulting trauma)

She didn't know any better. Years of being raised by the evil entity that was once Henry Creel skewed her view of the world she once lived in. When Y/N is sent by him from the Upside Down to infiltrate those that so tediously continue to thwart his plans, she ends up finding something with someone that she never could have expected. Will she betray the one who raised her, who helped her escape that horrific lab? Or will she help him burn it all to the ground? One thing was for sure. There was only one thing that might change her mind... She just doesn't doesn't even know he exists... Yet. ( Set from the beginning of S4 once flashbacks cease but reader has been part of prior Vecna plans. Reader is over 18/older than El to fit with Steve without it being weird and has powers; is 002 in this story so assume the bullies in the show were 003 upwards. Long-ish intro with flashbacks to try and make it make sense lmfao but only a few chapters. Please read TW's before reading and let me know if there's anything I missed. TW: Violence, brainwashing, death, both mental and physical abuse, manipulation, smut in later chapters, fem!Reader, angst )
