Ms. Anna Bockings is an independent woman, only worried about making a statement through her daily life that women can work and do things just as a man can. She writes books and plays, and shows her plays at the Theater Royal, in London, but with much competition, since she is the only woman using the theater. Mr. Daniel Dunnagan is a handsome, educated, business owner who seems to take much interest in Anna and her works. Anna does not worry much about romantic or social affairs, unless she has to, so is not one to jump into the opportunity of getting involved with Mr. Dunnagan, but finds herself drawing close to him while trying to pull away. Will Daniel's charm win Anna over? Will Anna discover that she does not need to dislike the male species in order to be an independent feminist woman?

"Not all women are successful in adapting to Pinn" The handsome man narrowed his eyes at the woman in the back "It saddens me to think of what happens to those who don't" I gasped silently at the threat. So far none of the Pinns had said anything but hallow words of propaganda and encouragement. The room was unnaturally silent. The woman in back clearly understood the implied threat. Somehow the threat brings me back to the reality of the situation. I was here against my will. ----- Ivy wakes up to a changed life. No Strings

55 parts Complete

Bess's life never went right. Her mother always called Bess her sad little accident. Her boyfriends demeaned her, killed her pets, and threatened violence on her. And becoming an Advertising Designer seemed always a little out of reach. So she thought that at least a marriage of convenience would work out. She devised a three step program for success. Step One: Elope with her best friend from childhood, William Bryant. Step Two: Reap all the legal benefits of marriage and buy the house that William wants. Step Three: Never deal with love again. But this strategy failed. After they get married, William slowly falls in love with her. When he confesses he fell in love with her because of her bed head and pajamas, it makes even less sense. Now Bess has to either face her unpleasant past with love or risk losing her best friend. No Strings is a 80,000-word humorous Woman's Fiction. Posting because this is probably the whitest complete book I have and while I like it, I don't want to officially publish it. It does deal with women, mental health (lightly), abusive relationships, and makes serious fun of Romance novels, Lifetime and Hallmark Channel as being unhealthy. The diversity is mostly on women. A few PoCs show up.
