"Down. Bleu, put it down" I can hear Wren behind me, but its my heart rate pumping in my ears that I focus on and feel the helmet face guard grinding into my palm.
"Who are you kidding? You're 5'7, you probably weigh 120 maybe 130 pounds, and you look like the cheerleader not the player" Jacob spat out while I stayed silent. The rest of the team gathered timidly around us. Wren was the only person in here who knew about my problem, the only one who knew it was close to impossible to bring me down from a high.
"Face it Bleu, you're a girl. And girls don't play football" I only remember Jacob looking around grinning at the other guys before my vision blurred with red then I completely blacked out.
