Emptiness

Life has never been particularly kind to Ellen and her family.

There's her father, whose gambling addiction has led to financial debt. There's her older brother Michael, who is beginning to follow in his footsteps. There's her mother, the only person she's ever felt an attachment to, whose sudden disappearance tore her to shreds.

And amongst it all, there's Ellen. She's a shy girl whose long-time estrangement from the world has left her with no one to turn to. She's just trying to make her loneliness fade away by melting into music and literature. She's just trying to run away from the emptiness threatening her sanity.

But what happens when the famous George Harrison of The Beatles takes her by the hand and promises the world to her? Will he be the one to save her, or will he leave her feeling emptier than ever?
