Alice is... Different. Shes a little off. I'm not talking about crazy or insane, I'm talking about ADHD. That's where all your emotions and senses are heightened. Alice's bullied. For being who she is. While everybody grew out of their insecurities, she didn't. Now shes bullied for it. All she wants is for someone to understand her and love her.
