A freshly turned eighteen-year-old, Laiken Smith was all set for an amazing trip to Ireland and she never dreamed that she would be moving there instead. The cause of this move was Laiken's hot, bloodsucking, psycho ex-boyfriend, Adrian; who is, of course, a vampire.
Introduced into a new strange world, Laiken is surprised to find she belongs in it. Under the surface of this girl next door lurks a gift. A gift that makes an appearance on the night her parents and brother are killed. Through this move to Ireland, adversity and new found friends, Laiken is able to nurture her amazing gift.
This story is not your completely average vampire and werewolf story. It is a conventional and unconventional story that should leave you somewhat guessing until the end. The story also takes you through the eyes of different characters in the story and has a sequel to come.
