Indigo Black is a 16 year old girl, struggling to find herself in the mad world of society. Her razor blade is her constant companion and she contemplates suicide as often as taking a shit. High school is her hell on earth, as she always gets kicked around and bullied by the senior guys. But one rainy afternoon, she meets Johnnie, a lonely "I don't give a fuck" kind of guy who works at the Five and Dime. They form a connection and, upon learning her plan to commit suicide on her birthday, he becomes determined to give her the best last week of her life. During that week, she finds herself beginning to live for the first time and she must decide what's the difference between something worth living for and something worth dying for.
