Xul was a very jumpy 15 year old male. He was afraid of the classics- the dark gave him goosebumps, loud noises woke him a start, and the space between his bed and the floor always seemed to contain monsters from his imagination. One thing did fascinate him, though. Magic.

Magic was a forbidden knowledge in his old village, known for calling upon demons to do the mortals bidding by destroying others. Xul knew this was not the case, though. In a dream he once had as a child he saw beautiful things, things created and altered by magic. He wanted to find them.

Raven was the quiet type. He often said nothing, only if you made him angry. His nose was always buried deep within ancient books, and Xul found it fascinating how Raven could read the passages. How he could lace words through his voice, as if he were spinning the phrases themselves in between his fingers. How he could will the text to do as he pleased.

How he could use his magic to lighten the air after a thunderstorm that scared Xul inside and out. How he helped the younger to learn and try the forbidden teachings. Xul loved the way Raven treated him, even in his always serious tone.

Xul loved Raven in general.

"I think I'm gay." I say, leaving out the part about my... exposing dream about him last night. I watched his expression, waiting for some sign that he was angry. I waited for him to call me a faggot, to curse me off and tell me he never wanted to see me again. Instead, I was greeted with his perfect toothy smile. "That's great man, I'm of proud you." He says, patting my arm as he stuffed another cracker in his mouth. "It takes some real balls to come out to someone." He says, his beautiful green eyes blazing into mine. I felt myself become flustered at his gaze. "Uh, Yeah, Thanks." I stumbled out, "You're not mad?" I ask. His expression turns to hurt as he crinkles his eyebrows. "Why the hell would I be mad?" He asks, hesitating on the crackers and pushing them away. "I just thought-it's just- well... you just always seem so pissed when someone mentions the word gay." I spit out words, scared for his reaction. He sighs, "That doesn't fucking mean I hate gays. Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. "Plus-" He adds on, "You're my best friend, if anything, you being gay is a blessing. I'll always support you." He says, glancing at me through the side of his eyes. I look away, towards the door to hide the crimson blush that I feel spread over my face. "Thanks." I all but squeak out. And that's the day I realized, I have a faint crush on my best friend. <><><><><< THIS BOOK IS BEING *MAJORLY* EDITED. And how to love in multiple ways. Opening his heart and mind to the world and people around him. Rated mature for: Swearing Mature concepts Violence This book is dedicated to everyone who inspired me, encouraged me and stuck by me while I debated giving up on the concept for this book altogether. You all know who you are... I wanted to tell a story that breaks the norm to some aspect. Where the main character is a boy, not a girl. Where he is not perfect. And where he is even a - not bad - but does bad things sometimes. It's a story of coming into yourself and forging your own path. Despite how hard that path can be to walk. Choices you face, how you'll react to them. What to do when you've done something bad and how you can fix it. If you should fix it. Each choice you make - weather you realize it or not - forges the person you are. For every door you close another one is waiting to be opened. This is not a perfect story, but it's one I want to tell. One that comes from a personal place in my heart and one that is born in reality and bathed in fantasy. This story will deal with aspects of both worlds. And sometimes touch on heavier topics. Be prepared, to read about a character who is the farthest thing from perfect. But he doesn't need to be. He just needs to be himself. Oh, how hard that truly is.

{MxMxMxM} "I'm everything I can't be, and I hate it. But I can't do anything about the situation I'm in, so I'll have to deal with it. " .... Tycho Black was struggling with a few things in his life with no one to save him but himself. He didn't really care though, considering it was easy to block out unwanted things. Whether it was thoughts, physical or emotional pain, or anything else- at the end of the day none of it mattered to him. He didn't care that he could possibly feel some sick attraction to men, even though he had never felt attraction before. He didn't care about going home and being met with nothing but fear. And he certainly didn't care about Alexei Abbots or the other older and mysterious men Alexei was associated with. Alexei in particular, though, was just a little weasel that wouldn't leave his mind. He thought he could block him out like every other person, like every other male that made him think in such a bad way. But somehow, for the first time, he couldn't force himself to forget the expression on the boy's face when his fist collided roughly with his jaw. ~ Alexei Abbots was happy. Really, really happy. He was open, free, and accepted by the two best women he had ever met who completely turned his life around. Not only was he welcomed with open arms by his two mothers, but he was also met with the arms of two men he had a mutual fondness for: Riley Worthright and Xavier Mendoza. He was on top of the world, and his not-so-gentle past wouldn't change that. Neither would Tycho Black, the aggressive bully on campus who seemed to get off on being a homophobic a-hole.

"Why are you here?" "You called for me, young warlock. I've heard a lot about you from The Beyond. And I wish I never had. ~~~ As a kid, Storm has never had much freedom. He wasn't allowed to go to school until year seven because his father was afraid he'd reveal himself to the general population, the humans, the people Storm and the others of his kind are sworn to protect. Because Storm isn't an ordinary nineteen year old, as much as he'd love that to be the case. He's a warlock in training, taking a sports course during the day and learning magic with his father at night. He's always been a sensible boy, until he made the greatest mistake of his life... A mistake he may live to regret for eternity.
