Just two weeks after solving a homicide in downtown Manhattan, two top NYPD Homicide Detectives Mallory Calvert and her partner Jeremy Daniels face another brutal homicide only this time it's a mother and her six year old daughter, who are murdered in the New York Residency. Moreover, the case becomes personal for the beautiful and ever so happy Mallory, when the first two victims are somebody she knows.This is just the beginning of a cruel, psychotic serial killer. When her partner tries to sway her away from the murders, their friendship is severely strained. The unexpected turn of events and differences in their opinions make the case harder to solve than it already is. As they try to get through their problems and focus on the severity of the situation, the killer piles up bodies of single mothers and their children, week after week. They have only six days to stop another murder from happening.Will they put an end to these killings that have struck entire NYPD like lightning and put them under constant scrutiny from higher authorities? Will justice be served to all the young women and their children who have been killed? Only time will tell.
