Brynn always knew she was different, and she’d accepted it a long time ago.
She was used to her fellow students pointing at her and whispering behind her back; she was used to strangers sending her odd looks and questioning glances; she was used to people having a negative reaction whenever she was in their presence.
Why?
It’s because Brynn had scars.
**I know how overly cliché this sounds but please bear with me, it's not your classic "scarred protagonist" story and the main character isn't being discriminated for having physical scars. There's many reasons as to why she's 'scarred' so please don't go off at me.**
