Skye has a problem. A problem she hasn't told anyone about. A problem which stops her going to school, like a normal teenager her age. A problem which forces her to work long hours for little pay at a greasy fast good joint. Her abusing, drug addicted mother.

At only seventeen years old Skye must work to support her family. Her mother has abused her and her younger sister, now in foster care, for around four years and Skye has had enough. She saves every penny desperately for a chance to send her mum to rehab and get her off the drugs once and for all.

But what happens when someone Skye least expected shows up at work one day? Will he makes time for her in his busy life once again or will she just be a distraction and a waste of space?
