A tall red, silver and blue mech ran down the streets of iacon in a hurry. He clutched a recharging femmeling of the same colours to his chest-plates, she was half way through her sparkling frame. He carried on running until he found himself on the outskirts of Iacon were he had an escape pod ready to launch. He took the femmeling from his chest and placed her down gently into to the pods interior which woke her up. She looked up at the mech before her with confusion
"Stormshadow" he said as softly as his baritone voice could go "I'm sending you away because home isn't safe anymore"

"Oppi I can't do this! I lost you once! I lost both my sparkmate and my siblings! I can't continue this war for you" , I say desperately clinging to him so that he can't leave. Optimus tries to gently pull me off of him but once I tighten my grip he sighs and says- "My spark, I know this is a lot to ask of you but I need your help. You are the one I trust the most to continue the small amount of peace we have established." Desperately clinging onto him I practically wail- "The peace won't last Optimus! You know just as well as I do that the humans will hunt us all down! I need you here! I need my leader, my Sire here!" A pained look appears in his optics, and for just a second I feel hope that he will stay. "Sweet Spark you know as well as I that if I stay we are endangering more human lives. If this happens we will be hated even more. Besides, no matter how much you say you hate humans, you can never forget that you yourself were once human. The past should stay in the past. At least that's what most people thought and Korn and Mew were no exceptions. The ground shuddered beneath your feet, the air heavy with something you couldn't name. You should've gone home. But your legs carried you forward, curiosity drowning out caution. A regular day of mining turns chaotic when an unknown creature somehow found its way into the energon mines. With a sudden disruption, all the miners had no choice but to search for whatever had gotten into mines and almost cause the loss of mined energon into a deep, dark pit of the mines. However, when they find what had caused the chaos, it became a shock. A small, frightened sparkling had somehow found her way into the mines now found herself in the hands of someone most of the miners would consider to not be responsible for even caring for a sparkling. A red and blue bot named Orion Pax. With the two stunned, Orion found himself in an awkward situation. Especially as this sparkling bore some resemblance to Orion and his closest friend, D-16. Which quickly becomes a joke among the miners, despite the fact this sparkling clearly came from the city itself. However, with no record of any new sparklings in the medical database, and no information of who the parents of this sparkling might be, the two young mining bots find themselves forced to care for this sparkling as it was quickly decided she would become a mining bot just like them. Which left them both scrambling to learn to even how to care for a sparkling who demanded attention and formulated energon for herself. And that was made even more difficult as it was soon discovered that this sparkling's vocal processor was not functional. Meaning this young spark was mute, and possibly kicked out. However, as time goes by, they learn to teach the young spark to communicate without speech, and discover she had an extreme fear of Sentinel Prime. Neither Orion or D-16 understood the reason. I haven't been able to get that sucker to stop bleeding." His voice sliced through the air. I stare at him, confused, looking around, wanting to be anywhere but here. He clears his throat once again. "Mate, did you hear me?" "How is your head feeling?" I close my eyes. What the fuck? What the fuck? I was angry, annoyed, and frightened. What, mate? What cruel world would make me mate with a wolf? No, no, no... My arm and leg were throbbing intensely. My head was screaming. I brought my fingers up to my head to try and rub the pain away. I needed to leave. Now. I told myself. My mind is still groggy, unable to swiftly move my body like I need to. I didn't even notice I was crying until his voice rang through my ears once again.
