For twenty year old Emma Wilbourne life is just starting. She’s got an apartment, a new job and she has finally put the past behind her. But then everything falls apart with a knock on the door.

Three years ago, the world changed. Vampires and werewolves came out of the closet and within a few short months, war broke out at the vampires strove to enslave the human race and the werewolves stepped in defense. However, there was a string attached to their support.

And right now, that string is strangling Emma.
