Crowded and Alone

Irish teenager, Katherine O' Riain, is the living embodiment of the saying "too old for your age". She prefers solitude for numerous reasons and doesn't take any shit from anyone. Katherine has set high goals for herself and there's is nothing that can deter her or stop her from exceeding them. She expects certain things from the people she associates with and if they can't meet her expectations, which is often, then they aren't her mates. Simple.

And then comes along Ellen. Shy and uncoordinated, Katherine helps her build up her confidence. But no good deed goes unpunished. At this point it's an instinct to push people away. But could her isolating tendencies push away the only true friend she's ever had?
