Falling for a boy at seventeen, looking back on it, might not have been the smartest idea. Thinking that the senior boy loved her was also idiotic on her part. It all climaxed in a horrible night, and three weeks later Samantha's life completely fell apart when the pregnancy test came up as positive. She'd never seen her parents so disappointed in her. Not even a week later she was packed up and being shipped off to stay with her aunt in Kansas to keep her out of sight and out of sight for the next nine months. Just a few days into her stay, Samantha meets a strange boy who stands out at the corner outsider her house late at night and disappears into cars. He's the only one who doesn't judge her for her 'mistake', but not judging his lifestyle is difficult for her, but she's unwilling to lose her only 'friend' even despite his questionable profession. As the pair grow closer he begins to show her the truth of the cruel world and the secret life that lurks in the underbelly of the peaceful city.
