We live in the digital age where everyone would rather socialize with the people online than the person sitting beside them. Online you can be anyone you want and you can meet anyone from anywhere.

Bianca Carlisle doesn't have the ideal life so she turns to an online chat room where she meets the mysterious Spartan1998. They don't know each other's names or where each other is from, all they know is that they have a lot in common and are both juniors in high school. After talking for months, they two become best friends.

But things take a turn when Spartan1998 logs off one day and never returns. Bianca learns that Spartan1998 might be closer than she ever imagined and she wants to know who her online friend is and what exactly happened to Spartan.

Will she find her faceless friend in a sea of familiar faces? Bianca is about to learn that not everything online is exactly how it seems.
