A day in the life of Stephen the Scottish cow boy ('heilen' coo' is scottish slang for the highland cow native to Scotland).
This was written for my higher English folio so it had a word limit so I didn't have much room to develop the characters. I might come back to this at a later date but in the mean time., enjoy!

A Sniper in a God Forsaken World
It was cold. Very cold. 'How did I get here?' I pondered over and over. Here I was, surrounded by an endless sea of snow covered trees. All around me, I could see layers among layers of snow. I lay there, staring up into the sky, wondering what had just happened. I had died. Or at least, I thought I died. Synopsis: A 34 year old soldier Simo Shephard dies while in active combat, yet instead of waking up at the pearly gates, he wakes up in a different kind of hell. Read as he survives in a world of animal hybrids known as chimeras, and as he tries his best to aid humanity as they dwindle ever closer to a silent extinction. Will he succeed in making a foothold for humanity? Will he change the tyrannical ways of the world? Or will he fail, leaving the fate of humanity to the chimeras. A/N This is the first story I have ever written. I am dumbfounded that people have found this story good enough to read, so thank you to all the readers! I hope you enjoy, and please let me know on any ways that I can improve. Il make sure to upload once a week.

"Okay, now get out of my way," he demanded walking past me. "No, wait-" I was cut off by Dylan throwing me over his shoulder. He scooped me up so easily as if I didn't weigh much. His arm was strong holding my waist securely and his shoulder was comfortable under my stomach. Once upon a time, there was a normal girl going through High School. She had really rich parents and she got everything she wanted. Everyone loved her because of how sweet she was. She was completely healthy as well so she lived happily ever after! Wait! Cut! That is not my life story at all! Let me tell you the real story... Once upon a time, there was an awkward 17-year-old girl going through High School. She had never met her parents and had to live with her idiotic older brother, William Johnson. They were not rich at all. They didn't even have a house to sleep in. Most people in her school hated her because of how sweet and bubbly she was but she was just trying to make them happy. And let's just say she had a very deadly disease as well. Now that is the life story of me; Naomi Johnson. And I don't believe in two things; 1. Happily ever afters 2.
