There comes a time in a young persons life when he or she can choose Their own destiny. This is not the case for one Tom Marvolo Riddle, son of Merope Gaunt and heir to Salazar Slytherin, distant cousin to one Harry James Potter. Now we all know how everything spun out through the works of J.K. Rowling, but what if Tom Riddle had a destiny to be the Minister of Magic? What if his mother didn't die giving birth to him but raised him to be the evil that we all know due to her broken heart from her love and the hatred of her father and brother who are still living? The tale everyone knows-the story of 'the boy who lived'-is one of triumph over darkness, where a young boy named Harry Potter defeated the Dark Lord, a figure of terror known by many names but feared most as Lord Voldemort. But long before he became the Dark Lord, he was Tom Marvolo Riddle, a boy who chose the path of darkness, driven by hatred and a thirst for power. His choices led to untold destruction, tearing apart both the wizarding and Muggle worlds. Yet, in an alternate universe, destiny took a different course. A girl was born, a beacon of hope in a world veiled in shadow. She became the ripple that disturbed the calm waters of time, altering the course of history that seemed set in stone. **ALL RIGHTS TO J.K ROWLING. I only own my own plot and characters.**
