Before the red death battle, Hiccup decided to run away. He doesn't wants to be murderer, a monster. So, he runs away with his bestfriend, toothless.
While he runs away, stoick blames himself for losing his one and only son.
Astrid feels sorry because of always being rude to him.
Snoutlout, who seems to be happy about hiccup being gone. But in inside he feels sorry and blames himself.
Fishlegs, asks himself why didn't he be his friend when he got the chance.
Gobber, is sad because his forge friend is gone, because the clever but weak inventor boy is gone.
But you know, not everyone is sad. In the other hand, there is hiccup who is having the best times of his life. Being free is everything to him. And well, when there is somebody who accepted you with your all mistakes, life is just great.

Complete!!! Hiccup was always a nuisance to the vikings on Berk. He was viewed as a runt, a shame, and a screw up. That all changed when he became the top of dragon training, and finally gets the chance everyone thought he only dreamed of. To kill a dragon in front of the entire village. Stoick was proud of his son, he had almost lost hope in him. Now, he proved everyone wrong, or so they thought. Hiccup wanted nothing more than to have this chance his entire life! However, that was before he met and bonded with Toothless, a night fury he had shot down weeks ago. Now, he wanted to escape, but not without attempting to convince the vikings that dragons weren't the real threat. He thought his monstrous nightmare match would be the perfect setting for such a feat. When things go sideways, when Toothless saves Hiccup, he has a choice, stay and try one last shot of convincing Berk, or flee with his best friend. He chooses the best option, he flees. Now, he is branded as a trator, a renegade. Stoick practically disowns him and he is never heard from again. five years later, Berk hears mighty tales of a grand hero who rides a night fury. Many call him 'Night Rider', 'Dragon Tamer', and 'Mysterious Rider'. Many doubted that this hero could be their traitorous ex heir to the Berkian leadership. After all, he was described as having a prosthetic leg, very tall, confident, and extremely buffed, while Hiccup was the opposite of all these descriptions.
